About the Group
NationalPark-Photos is a group that is dedicated to the photography and artwork of National Parks, Forests and Monuments. It includes all National Parks around the world, not just the United States. There are 8 different folders featuring, the East and West United States, Canada, Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and South America.

Here we will feature national parks from around the world. If there is one that you'd like us to feature, send us a note.
Valley of Flowers National Park
This is a park in India located in the west Himalaya. It is known for its beautiful flowers, mountains and rare wildlife, including Asiatic black bear, snow leopard, and blue sheep. It is only open from June to October and is 17km from the nearest town.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
This park is located in Uganda in East Africa. It is made up of 331 square kilometers of jungle that is only accessible on foot. There are 120 species of mammals, 346 species of birds, 202 species of butterflies, 163 species of trees and many other animals and plants.
Belavezhskaya Pushcha/Białowieża Forest
This park is found on the border of Poland and Belarus. It is one of the last parts of the primeval forest left in Europe. It is home to 800 wisent (European bison) and other animals like elk and konik. The more popular side is in Poland, where around 200,000 people visit annually.
Auyuittuq National Park
This park is located in Northern Canada in Nunavut. It is home to the arctic wilderness including many glaciers, ice fields and fjords. Its name means "the land that never melts" in Inuktitut. Only 12 species of animals live there including lemmings, arctic hare and fox, Polar Bear, and Caribou.
Torres del Paine National Park
This park is found in Patagonian Chile. It is famous for Cordillera del Paine, a beautiful mountain group. it also has Guanacos, cougars and fox and 15 birds of prey.
Mount Aspiring National Park
This park is located in New Zealand in the Southern Alps. It is named after a mountain in the park. It is popular for hiking, tramping and mountaineering.
